"A house of 25 squares on a turn key price costs about $230k"

You can build a good 30 square house for $190K so you're 20% out there already.

Sorry rolladex, but that is not a turn key price.

So far in the past month I have had chats with metricon, hotondo, national builders and simmonds.

That $190k is not a turn key price. It excludes things like siteoworks ($10-$15k.), driveway and footpaths ($8k), window coverings ($5k), most have limited power points, phone and TV points, no eaves ($3k), they only have 2.4m ceilings and not 2.55 ($3k), panel door over roller door ($1k) and most only give you wet area tiling.

For our 25 square home with a TURN KEY price, the cheapest has come in at $223k, and the dearest at $265k.

Dont always believe their hype and bull in their advertising rolladex.
