so in summary those issues were there at much higher prices and the business has resolved almost all of the above yet the share price was high when a2 was reliant on a bunch of daigou with a shoddy inventory system but is low when it has multiple channels to market better systems etc. almost a slow motion disconnect between fundamental events and SP

we are now below 2017 prices. yet the revenue is 3X and EPS is about 2X those levels. the company is spending money on marketing now and is in control of where and how its product is being sold yet its getting cheaper by the day. its cash flow positive and has a massive pile of cash so the share price can go to zero but it is fundamentally a valuable business and if the current SP trajectory continues someone will realise the value (not my preferred scenario). usually when the SP tanks its a sign of financial trouble - this is not the case here.

if we ignore the market sentiment and look at the business - today you are getting a better bargain than 2017 based on revenue, EPS, routes to market, new products in place, new products under development ie elderly, new markets ie US IF/Korea etc so logically it makes sense to buy this business now more than it did during the roaring days of the daigou when there was visible hype and people raiding Woolworths IF isles

all great business go through these periods. look at Tesla& Netflix with their massive roller coaster SP rides, Microsoft (SP flat for about a decade before the bull raged), McDonald's (we were all going to stop eating junk food in 2000's), Lynas (can always buy cheap rare earths from our biggest trading partner China), Fortescue, Whitehaven (coal is dead right?) yet after a passage of time they are back in fashion and you know what happens with the SP.

i wonder whether the November meeting will bring any new information to the market as I find the priadr a2 tweets equally informative as the Investor Relations department

Yep lot of truth in there but the difference between now and 2017 is that the market has become significantly more controlled by bot trading hence the sp is easily manipulated and dragged down regardless of solid fundamentals. Its all perfectly legal of course (Loud Cough) so just have to suck it up and wait or do what they want and capitulate.
