re: China's growth and demand for our raw materials.. I hope it continues.

Everything is not as it appears ..

1. China has been building empty cities for years - new cities that people are choosing not to move into.
What would happen to the demand for our raw materials if China stops building these ghost cities ?
Dubai has had to come to its senses and cool its heels and stop property speculating... China may have to follow ?

2. How much worse would the USA situation be if China wasn't buying US bonds and helping keep the US interest rates low to encourage the US consumer spending and the US housing market from collapsing further.

In many ways global growth continues to be an illusion that China and the USA have conjured up.
