i doubt it was the gold price. There is no gold here yet. Need a few positive drill hits before we can hope to see gold price reflecting in on our SP.
I think it was just speculation based on performance rights. People assuming KRR was buying back.
Also, I don't think the buyback will happen before AGM which is due on 16th Nov. Actually might not happen till December or later next year. Also, the company can choose to can the buy back if they don't see value in it.
Mgmt did not buy back at 10c. why would they now buy at 1.4c a 40% premium? Especially when they can use the money for drilling.
