There already is an EV ute available in Australia.
It's called the LDV eT60, and it only costs $100k!
It's an utter heap of cr@p.
And people talking about 1000km range, and that no one should drive that far blah blah.
I recently did a trip from Melbourne to Brisbane in a D Max. Turbo diesel.
Was getting almost 800km out of a tank.
Didn't mean I was driving 800km non stop.
But it did mean I could stop when and where I WANTED.
Not NEEDED to "just in case".
