LOL Australia moved quickly before the wheels could fall off and the stimulus was well targetted and successful. Other countries argued, waited for the wheels to fall off first and recovering becomes extra hard.
Had we have fallen into recession the doomsayers would have caused exaggerated negative responses and the economies wheels would have fallen off. We are unique in having avoided recession and continuing in a growth phase with low unemployment.
