So many posters have called this that it is not a surprise. Despite those who doubted it would happen, remember old mate who was in the webinar, so that's a no. It was always going to happen and to be fair to JM he has never denied that this was going to occur.
What is incredibly disappointing is that he could have easily be more forthcoming about the need to raise funds.
Having said that the funds are necessary for the company to have any chance of success. I believe the reason they have not sold at higher numbers is because simply they have not had the cash reserves to do so. To either advertise or manufacture at a high volume can I dare say "Mass production."
For this to be a success, the amount they raise needs to be vastly higher than previous raises. Somewhere north of 10 million. At that amount, we could see production at levels that could support sales to sell enough for a profit and sustainability.
It is clear that the upcoming quarterly will be disappointing for revenue. If it were tracking successfully, then they could have released the report early or held off the raise.
Fundamentally this is a necessary evil. There can be a lot of positives coming out of this. If the raise is by a cornerstone investor, If it, as i said previously, large enough to not require another raise in a quarter or two if it is on the back of news from Walmart roll out. This was always going to happen and I'm glad its done now and we move forward.
