    Eh, common wisdom is to never buy the news, and it holds up double for spec stocks. People say you should buy the doubt, but I kind of lean into the falling knife analogy for that. Never buy the news, but otherwise buy the 'this looks like it could be promising in the future and I have funds to spare that I can safely afford to lose if it all goes pear shaped'.
