Charts work only because everyone else is seeing the same pattern that you may have identified....
In the absence of news or fundamental change, I liken it to everyone putting their coins in the same jar and shaking it up. Yes some will be able to end up with more coins than they had invested initially but for the majority the opposite will be their reality. I swingtraded for years and did very well from it... But have found that for truly life altering gains finding the needle stock in the proverbial HAYSTACK is the HOLY GRAIL.
