There has only been 1 place I've enjoyed BV, and that was on a 10 acre property and in the back part of the property they allowed it to grow up into a large gumtree. Eventually the gum tree died and it just uses it as a holding structure. The BV stump would have been close to a meter in size. They never touch it, just let its do its own thing.
The day the tree eventually falls over I do not envy the tree lopper that has to remove it.
