I think Neil Mitchell is correct.
Our country is in a slow decline. The population is being divided by the Left's pursuit of Identity politics, the economy is heading for recession, our energy systems are collapsing from the Climate Change / Net Zero cult, free speech is subjected to the woke cancel culture and our institutions no longer function to benefit society.
