Platts trades from yesterday:
Due to the size of the short position in PLS, if these gains can be maintained we are going to see outsized up days as these positions will need to close/cover. Theres just no way they'll be able to maintain the funding cost in light of the risk to the upside from rising lithium prices. I stress the upward trajectory of these prices needs to be maintained. The official platts print for this week is due tomorrow.
