ellaishani, I dont want to start a slanging match out of this, but one conversation with the CEO doesnt make him a mate.

Also, if you do some home work, this company has nearly gone to the wall a couple of times in recent times trying to get this technology to the market.

If my memory serves me correctly (and I may be a slightly off, but the basis is correct),This was originally a 4 shareholder company made up of the then directors and inventors.
They ran out of money and did a reverse buy out of a company I had held for many years in SSH medical.
They did this to get instant access to a large shareholder base to do a capital raising to continue their work.

Then this time last year they once again had exhausted all funds, and did another capital raising to enable them to get the Mix N go product to market.

At that time, I am guessing they had to do a deal with the devil to get it fully underwritten, and with me having absolutely no knowledge of the deal, would be quitely confident that is where the mentioned expenses deal may have been struck.

I would also assume that the original directors worked for many years without receiving much by way of a salary, and having reduced their shareholding to a fraction of what it would have originally been, I am surprised that they have not been selling more shares to fund their lives.

After pouring in everything they own (again I assume you would do that before giving away almost half of your business)I would suggest they dont have a great deal of cash to buy shares with.
This obviously excludes the guys that came on board with the capital raising, and again would expect they are looking to sell at some stage to recoup their investment not increase it.

I can speak from experience in regards to the start up of a business and the years of frustration and lack of income to get it off the ground, so have a high degree of empathy for these guys.

Am happy to be corrected with any of the above, but I suggest we cut them a bit of slack and enjoy the ride with them, as this is their time to shine and to be proud of their achievements to this time.
