Purposely misleading people. That Washington Post is not behind a pay wall. I guess you don't want people to see all the details. They want to build a road that will cross 11 major rivers and pass through one national park and close by another. And it will pass through the migration path of several animals.
You can't compare Big Sandy with an open pit hard rock mine in Alaska near wildlife that requires a newly built 211 mile road. If anything it shows the amount of obstacles required to block the project.
One of the world's largest copper mines is operating just down the road from Big Sandy.
