I think you might be right.
the number short (Oct 9) seems to have dropped off a cliff
About .49% of the stock
Plus the number of sales that were short on 12/10 when the stock dropped 5% was only 22%. up til now that number has been in about 30% for the day.
Declining interest in shorting can only mean one thing - shorters may think that there is little money to made from a falling price as it has fallen as far as it can fall and maybe there is a danger that the stock price might actually go up for a change.
