the reason for the voice being included in the constitution pushed by the likes of Mayo is that a future government can exit a treaty at any time without consulting the aborigines. No one will want to enter into a nation wide treaty now because it is clear they will be kicked out at the next election. The albo/aborigines power play had failed, because only a minority of Australians are ignorant.
