So they didn't release any on the fly updates through the 12-1/4" hole section because there were no moveable hydrocarbons in the section.
I'm not sure why you would be "concerned" about no finds in the upper section when this was also the case in M1 where the lower primary targets were hydrocarbon bearing.
The lack of updates through the current hole section? See my earlier comments about fully drilling out targets before making announcements.
