Your post was kind of meaningful and humorous until the last line. Then it just spoke of our ignorance as immigrants, because the indigenous elders have been trying to give us sustainable land management and fire practices for centuries but we are still too arrogant to listen properly. Instead we focus on making jokes about sticks that sound like farts or calling out 2nd and 3rd generation mixed-breads for identifying with their heritage.
Funny how 3rd gen European Australians are still allowed to identify with their homeland or speak with an accent without being judged as fraudulent.
