    I think it's a possibility (a distinct possibility)

    there are a lot of possibilities. If one looks at how the referendum was set up - it was up against it right from the beginning. The probability of it getting a yes was at best what one would call low confidence and the probability of it getting rejected would always have been high

    that should bring up the question of 'why?'

    why would the group that asked for it to be brought in ask for something and have it put in such a way

    they aren't stupid, as much as a lot of people might like to think
