With respect, those posters herein complaining and posting cheap shots about VML, including about todays announcement of Dr Geordie's appointment and compensation package, what experience do you have in executive recruitment and incentive packages at this level. It just gets tiring having the same old regular posters bagging every move, complaining about issues, including not having a CEO, then complaining about having a CEO, etc.

The CEO job is really about having, firstly, a belief (or vision for) VML; secondly, the ability to develop a strategy and tactics to execute that vision; and thirdly, the skills to assemble and lead a team to implement that strategy. I don't see anything in his CV that would imply Dr Geordie is not capable of those tasks.

As to complaints about his compensation package, the cost/benefit of that will only be assessable at a future date when one may assess his impact on the company valuation, etc. In the meantime that compensation is an investment in the future value. What do you think it costs to employ a full time mining CEO?

It's been a very difficult path last 12 months for VML holders and in fact for most investors in the REE space. Govt's talk has not been articulated into investment and global price manipulation of REE's has been smashed. China has, as always, been playing the long game and doing it very well in the REE space. So the sharing of information, thoughts and criticism can be helpful to others but constant one liner pot shots about every move the company makes are of no value to investors and many of those types of posts resemble little more than trolling.
