There's a lot in here to reply to but as best I can recall:
1. It certainly used to be a bespoke business trading in liquorice all sorts but that never worked well, and was the root cause of all these bits and pieces that were written down to get rid of. The business is changing with management and is transitioning to more regular products (refer the name change, clave relocation etc). they sell plates and helmets in one division, and drones in another. There are various other arguments around having people unemployed and holding raw materials but given the $5M in orders in the last couple weeks they now appear as an immediate supplier as well as a market leader, good luck competing with that.
As for the clip n go, yes agree you have to make a profit, but I'd say this has already been considered, and I suspect as happens with Defence contracts, once you're in a field, if something better comes along, that next contract is a whole lot better.
