Tabcorp has been a thorn in my portfolio for many a year now and I am wondering if people have any arguments for holding or selling out for the capital loss this year.
I bought this back in the days of $15 share price and was disappointed with the governments decision regarding the gaming licences that dropped the share price by 50%.
The only thing I can see going for TAH is that the dividend is still around 8% p.a. but even that has started to be pegged back from the historic dividend values.
Does anyone know how likely TAH are to get their $670m payout from the Government or is this one going to court?
I am unsure how competitive TAH can be in finding new revenue streams given that they operate in such regulated environments.
So...should I stay or should I go?
