I don't mind people with opposing views, but let me clarify that the statement you quoted from Federal Resource Minister Madeleine King was made when she was in the opposition. The primary role of the opposition is to oppose the actions of the sitting government. Naturally, she would make statements opposing the sitting Resource Minister, Keith Pitt, regarding PEP-11. Can you imagine Madeleine King supporting Keith Pitt in approving the PEP-11 application? That would mean she is not fulfilling her role as an opposition minister, and she would likely lose her position rather quickly.
