Large companies can accumulate shares in their target without raising the sp of the target , through shorting arrangements.
Refer to the great Post # 70380073 by dynofish in LTR threads.
This is a well written post which aptly describes the practice in the submission to ASIC, etc.
Can be relevant to DLI and other companies being targeted for takeover.
It makes you wonder why the short positions in DLI spiked to 3.7m share in May.
