Lol, here we go. What's the benefit for ARN? A bit more concentration of media influence for those calling the shots?
The benefit for A1N small shareholders???
Maybe a nice little short term opportunity for SXL shareholders. After that maybe then down the path of other media entities like SWM in which case:
1. Cancel dividends because you know, all that acquisition debt.
2. When the debt finally gets under control in a couple of years, buybacks before dividends (concentration of influence before shareholder returns).
Just my opinion on the end game, I'm sure there are contrary opinions out there but every time I think media companies with influence might be a good investment I just have another look at SWM.
