Just trying out the MooMoo desktop trading. This is a download installation, ie not web-based.
The level of complexity and detail is way beyond anything that Iress can deliver using their chosen browser-based model and it seems to me they have made a huge tactical error to base their future on a browser-based offering when bespoke executable code to run directly on operating systems with much faster TCP pipes would give them so much more flexibility in program features. I think this platform is about to fade into irrelevance unless they clearly state an alternate direction given 12 months after everyone was forced onto it... no changes that I can see.
