Using numbers obtained from Stock Trak and Yahoo Finance the days to cover existing shares shorted has increased slightly to 4.4 days mainly due to a reduced average 10- day volume number [396K shares per day]. At some point in better times shorters will have buy back these shares to repay their stock lenders.
