yes, @68stang. This gives me some minute hope that the BoD have a rabbit up their sleeve. You would think there would have been some leak on where pricing is by now, but maybe they haven't found it yet?
Gina providing debt funding with no need for dilution would be the best outcome for us. I sent her another email yesterday, but don't expect an answer. She didn't reply to my email a couple of weeks ago. I stupidly thought she might want to work with us, which is why I held on, but she doesn't give a stuff about us shareholders imo. I believe she wants to take over the whole project. That's how people think with $17 billion cash in the bank. She can buy any expertise she needs in underground. She doesn't need us or ALB.
I don't believe ALB will be back. Her 20% has seen them off and any other likely suitor imo.
Our biggest asset now in TG and friends with 20+% of the company also. They will have the bit between their teeths now and wanting to execute this project as best as possible to keep Gina at bay, and maximise value for themselves and us. If we execute the project well and start to see cash rolling in, Gina won't be able to steal this company for chips.
I am not surprised we went into suspension today. Gina wasn't in communication with our BoD while she was accumulating and I think they genuinely weren't sure what the outcome of talks between her and ALB would bring. They weren't expecting ALB to walk on Sunday, so they've had to change plans very quickly. It is such and important raise with many options, including government debt, and these things are best not rushed.
It is what it is now. Those left here are the true believers, for better or worse. Right now we need to all get behind our BoD like never before.
When I say best of luck to all holders now, I really mean it like never before.
