I couldn't disagree more with the sentiment on this thread - the guy you are referring to set himself up as an authority on all things CDU and derided any views opposing his own speculation - and HC allowed him to do this. I know because my views were mostly contrary to his. Of course he wasn't the only one in the cheer squad who wouldn't countenance any opposing views - always a bad thing to see a stock promoted by a 'messiah' which I warned about many times..... but I won't go into 'I told you so' even if I'm justified in doing so.....


more importantly, the market has revalued CDU and judged it a minor player, contrary to the views of CDU management. They got it very, very wrong. The buyback as I stated many times was futile I couldn't imagine what they were thinking..... and from all that I've read of McCrae's recent statements it appears he's oblivious to the fact that his company's sp has just been slashed in half in one day, he seems to think there's a bright new future around the corner for CDU - well, CDU has copper, but how much exactly and how profitable will it be to mine? and what are the costs of doing so? and what will be the dilutionary effect on shareholders over time - most were underwater due to the inordinate delays with issuing the JORC anyway in terms of monetary devaluation and lost opportunity costs already now they have to wait for more years to even see if CDU can turn a profit - what a complete and utter utter disaster, and I don't think the dog has bottomed yet either.....


beyond all that, what credibilty does CDU have anymore? my god, how many times do they have to reissue simple announcements before they can get even that right? I have always been highly sceptical about CDU, but was hoping to make a quick buck on the announcement so bought in again - so I lost too - and I can assure you that I will never trust anything coming from CDU's direction ever again....
