re: Ann: Rail Corridors to Link Iron Project ... As a comparison, Macmahon's are building an 85km rail spur for Gindalbie Metals Iron Ore project. The cost is $86million and the construction is estimated to take around one year - the time estimate is from their presentation to the 2010 Small to Mid Caps conference.

So Mindax's 160km rail spur may cost around double Gindalbie's at $170 million and take two years to build. I think they are looking for production in around 3 years so they need to start the rail process soon to have it ready in time for their mine.
