'Market Focus' in the US this evening

'Market Reflections' from previous session (19.08.2010)
"The economic outlook dimmed Thursday. Weekly initial jobless claims rose to 500,000, the highest level since late last year and one that points to the risk of a decline for monthly payrolls. The Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey was also very weak, raising the most serious questions yet over the health of the nation's bread-and-butter sector. The Dow fell 1.4 percent to 10,270 while money continued to pour into Treasuries. The 30-year yield fell nine basis points to 3.65 percent. Gold, up slightly to $1,231, and the dollar, up 0.2 percent on the dollar index to 82.46, are also benefiting from demand for safety. Oil fell 1.4 percent to $74.75."
