Lynas is managing the Malaysian problem in two ways. The first is to use the situation where Malaysia needs Lynas more than Lynas needs Malaysia these days and by using the USA where they need Lynas as security for the availability of rare earths. They also have spread the risk by more work being done here in Australia. Remember the main reason why Lynas went to Malaysia was because of the "radio activity" of the product, a problem that is now being recognized as minor and manageable in Australia.
