Of course there was a correlation between Dr T leaving and the SP drop, but that doesn’t make him responsible for it. Whilst he was formally ‘welcome to stay’, he judged his position untenable, and subsequent events have confirmed that judgment. Doing the best by shareholders and helping the immediate SP are different things.
