Late November/December 2021 was when lithium prices took off and almost all (all?) lithium stocks took off as well. The chart below is Chinese pricing of lithium carbonate through trading economics. I've used this not because its the best example (it isn't), but because its easily available.
IMO GT1 is a much better company now than it was back in Nov 2021 but the share price is similar. Spot prices for lithium have been a big influence on share prices. The period immediately following bearish reports from the likes of Goldman's have also had a big influence. Hopefully the little bit of a turn in Carbonate prices gets bigger and that flows through to a new bull phase.
You can see the overall influence of "market" influences over the last year by considering how Atlantic Lithium and GT1 have traded. Atlantic's starting to see some favourable news around permits which explains some of their relatively speaking recent strength.
At some stage the favourable developments that GT1 have made and are making will be reflected in the share price but at the moment the market appears to just want to kick lithium share prices slightly lower than they were the day before. At some stage fundamentals will come through.
