NMG easily the most similar listed company with what Talga are trying to do: vertically integrated natural graphite to anode producer, localised mine to refinery (Canada), hydro power.
Major differentiator is their graphite grade is very low (~4% Cg). Much more waste mined and therefore higher up the cost curve. The positive for them being in North America is access to IRA, where Talga are waiting for the EU to get a move on.
Only reason for +30% one day increase is the China news.
