This guy Aaron Patrick is a real piece of work. He's controversial to say the least!

He (and the AFR) was hit with a defamation suit and ordered to pay $400k to Jemma Green of Powerledger (Dec 2021). Two articles by Mr Patrick were found to convey an imputation that Dr Green caused unethical market manipulation by Powerledger by using undisclosed paid spruikers to promote it and its POWR token.

Same guy who wrote the "Cash trail shows drought was a fake farming crisis" (2020) and got rural Australia all riled up.

Some of the detail in Patrick’s article was so grotesquely inappropriate it can’t be repeated. The AFR had removed the worst line from the online article due to guidelines relating to reporting mental health issues
