My take. Planning drill programmes takes time to mull over data etc. Starting a program so soon after receipt of lab results is generally a no no... ...Unless you already have a v good feel for the results...on the basis of your field observations... ...So mapping this out a bit...they have had one or two months to mull over the: field data; what is going on; and what to chase next.
These are not pin the tail on the donkey exercises. This is a "aim for bulls eye with every drill".
