FCF end of FY $3.3b - tax .773b - dividend .450b - Cap exp mainten etc .935b what is left is $1.14b
Q1 2024 155kt - 2700US$/t - 1.55 US to AUS - minus $900 operating cost (inc Royalities) - minus tax (paid monthly) = approx $.350b. Lets just have a guess $.300b for Q2FY2024. They then have APPROX FCF $1.89b
20% of 1.89b is .370b - in my book plenty enough to pay a reasonable dividend - subject to any commitment towards new JV for 300kt. Just my take on it all. No correspondences will be entered into.
