Many on this board keep saying that they get the next year or so will be bad. But the future looks so much better. Many things could happen that will change future. It is unknown. In April of 2022 Lynas had an intraday high of AU 11.59. No one can predict a high but one thing is true the SP was over $10.50 most of the time from 27/Feb/'22 to 10 /april/'22. soon we will be in the fives about 50% lower. Even if only a paper loss it is still a real loss just not formal Yet. I have had investments that have done worse than that. I learned early that when i take a big loss to admit I missed something. Go back and figure out what it was and figure and what caused me to miss it. We all have big losses but to fool ourselves and say it is OK the stock will recover and be OK is just a fools game. It may recover but it usually takes a long time. AMZN took 10 years to return to its 1999 price after DOT COM.
19 mar/1999 us 5.00 till 12 Nov 2010. Figure out what you missed. Then invest on what is most likely to happen in the next 12 months and invest accordingly. Stop looking for the silver bullet that will produce miracles figure out what is most likely to happen.
Ar you tying yourselves to yesterdays Rabbit that has run out of gas and will need a long time to recover. Or the tortoise.

I go to a Dog park fairly frequently. There are two Greyhounds that come. They outrun everything by a lot for 15 minutes. After that they just have to lay down. and watch other dogs play.
For the next year is Lynas a rabbit or greyhound that just needs to rest? Why not catch something else and when the future looks better you can get back in probably buying more shares than you sold with the money from selling. Investing is about playing the odds not dreaming about a better future.

If a stock goes down a lot, dump it and watch for concrete evidence it will recover. You will miss a few opportunities but over time you will do much better.
