My observation :
1) When the Bond markets are in turmoil - everyone suffers.
2) BIll Ackman came out on twitter and said he has closed all his short positions in the bond market.
3) This sent bond yields tumbling - from 5.01 to around 4.85
4) This sends a very strong message to the equity markets. WE HAVE STOPPED SHORTING


Think about it

5) This implies cost of money hopefully comes down
6) This is also sending a wider message to Shorts on individual stocks, time to think about closing your positions

Maybe

7) BIll Ackman has now gone long on the bond market - implying there will be short covering across the board

8) October may relive to be the turn around month

On to PLS
9) as is evident by this morning volume and direction, shorts may just be covering
10) When was the last time you saw 15 million traded in the 1st hour -- and with the shares in GREEN

Just an observation - I must caution you most of my observations are just that, and more likely wrong then right
