it wouldn’t be value accretive. PRU is trading at a wayyy more favourable valuation, and where would the synergies be with that?
the only purpose it would have would be to derisk the geopolitical situation, but let’s be honest if things go to crap in Africa the company would likely be screwed either way.
maybe acquiring WAF would make sense as it’s trading at a similar valuation? Personally I think don’t think they need to make any rash moves, just keep doing what they are doing.
