POS is going to be like watching paint dry until we get either a takeover bid, or some clarity on how they plan to keep the funding going whilst they tread water waiting for the Nickel price to pick up again. It's pretty clear that the ramp up of laterite Nickel supply out of Indonesia is suppressing the Nickel price now, and will continue to do so going forward. Unless a premium can be extracted for producing a differentiated 'green' sulphide derived nickel (which isn't the case at the moment), I reckon POS are in a tricky spot. Plus any potential suitors may well be willing to wait and pick over the carcass... I still think a fire sale of Windarra is on the cards to keep the lights on next year.
