As I stated earlier, if the GG is called upon to take any actual decision in this matter then, in the interests of avoiding any appearance of bias, she will step aside for her deputy. I think that is Marie Bashir (NSW State GG) but I may be wrong (I think it works on a rota basis or some such).
Anyway, it is not an issue. I believe that our GG is an honorable woman.
