But as in the case of a trial and where the judge makes comments that clearly shows he's aligned and in bed with one side or the other, he is unfit to be seated. For him to say in the same breath that, "...there was no excuse for the "appalling" violence by Hamas militants on Oct 7" but then add, "It is important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum." and was "...provoked by the “suffocating occupation” of the Palestinian territories" clearly indicates he WAS offering an excuse
