We all discriminate - and we do it most of the time. We discriminate on intelligence, on good looks, on wealth, power, physique, disabilities, and no doubt other things as well.

Once Bob & his co-travellers get their way with Gay marriage, they will then move onto their next most important campaign. It could be any number of things, but maybe they will demand the right to be married in churches, and will call the church resistance discrimination. And they would be right, it would be discrimination. But - would it be wrong then?

Bob and co don't want legal equality - Governments can give them that. They want to re-define the nature of history, and to change an institution that has many thousands of years of heritage into something else.

It is not discriminatory to call an apple an apple, but call an orange an orange. Homosexual unions have never been marriages - they are something else.
