You maybe right but on the other hand everything Mali gov is doing against Leo is also affecting Ganfeng (no DSO, more taxes, more percent of the project for Mali). I don't think the Mali leaders are mad and it also seems they get support from the people there. Mali still has big problems and needs help from outside. At the moment this help can only come from Russia or China- so IMO they urgently need the mine starting production and should not put to much pressure on Leo/Ganfeng. That could make the mine less attractive and delay stage 2 or 3.
