Ann: Strong Gas Shows in Multiple Upper & Lower Angwa Reservoirs, page-617

Hi All,

For those interested, just Posting my review of the ASX 25/10/23 release. Obviously, the excellent results continued in the Upper Angwa and the Lower Angwa very strongly appears to consist of hydrocarbon charged reservoirs.

IMO, a couple of key points:
- IVZ is reporting for the Upper and Lower Angwa extremely positive results "across multiple zones" - this is very significant as it reduces the chance of these results being associated with what would be geologically considered to be more anomalous situations that can occur.

- SM mention with respect to Mukuyu-1 that the generation of gas vs liquids was depth related (i.e. maturity of source rocks), at Mukuyu-2 the Upper Angwa is ~400m shallower than it was at Mukuyu-1 thus materially increasing the potential for liquids generation both for the Upper and Lower Angwa reservoir.

- If I'm interpreting SM's sentence correctly (Points 7 in Slides 1 & 3) - the net-to-gross at Mukuyu-2 has the potential to be significantly higher that at Mukuyu-1. Which is what IVZ were proposing from their initial seismic inversion work - Slide 5 - text in blue box.
