My understanding (if correct) is if a 3 year contract is announced at $1.2m p.a., that will be recorded as $1.2m ARR. At day 1, it will still exhibit $0 licensing revenue, even though paid upfront.

By 6 months in, licensing revenue will be $600k, ARR stays at $1.2m.

Thanks mate. I see, ARR increased 97% in the Sept 22 quarterly, leading to materially higher licencing revenue for this quarter vs pcp, but no new contracts involving ARR going forward at this stage. Kick my reptile brain into gear.
