How does this make it look like someone is interested? This is just someone telling their broker to keep selling to keep the price at the low.
There have been plenty of times when CTP shares have been deliberately churned to make it look like there is interest. You can spot it by relatively high turnover with only small changes In sp, usually finishing with a dump. However, washing shares between accounts for this purpose is illegal; I hope that was not an admission of impropriety?
However, this is the ASX, regulation of this sort of thing is almost non existent. There was one famous HC name who was caught, though.
