iphone users in US may prefer apple pay later over other bnpl. the impact should have already priced in since it is expected. zip has A&Z business so less hurt imo. these users may also use apple pay later and other bnpl at the same time since $1000 isn't a lot.

Now apple joins bnpl which proves the business model has a good future. it maybe a great opportunity for zip when the competition speed up now.

this will add pressure on big players like paypal, block & affirm when they losing US customers. not sure if apple can be a winner, but there will be at least another winner for non iphone users. Zip with its 6m+ globally customers can be a very good take over target. we only have 110m debt remaining (nothing else needs to worry in the near future) and mc less than 300m aud. regulations may also protect zip's business in A&Z. if these big companies want to buy zip using their shares, they may only need issue 2% new shares.

someone asked when zip will back to 45c? i think if zip can deliver another cash flow positive ebtda in the next quarterly report, we should see 45c as this is more proof at the highest interest rate environment + more competition from apple. of course if paypal or block want to buy zip, 45c+ for sure. especially paypal, i think they could win the A&Z market over afterpay if acquire zip.
